Did some honing today starting with this W&B.

    Hot shower,
    Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    New Forest Badger
    AOS Lavender SC
Wade and Butcher, For Barber's Use, Size=HUGE
Chosera 1K, Naniwa 3,5,8,12K, .25 Diamond, CrOx, Felt, Leather
    Razorock Aluminum
    Pinaud Clubman
    Vaseline for Men

I have this razor for sometime and never honed it or used it. I was at Roberts Williams house one day and I showed it to him. He did a quick fix-up but I asked him to leave the blade because I liked the patina. It did not take much work to get a nice bevel and then continue on the other hones. I gave it a one pass shave because I did not have much time.
Very nice shave as the weight of the razor pushed it through the whiskers. Very Comfortable to shave with for a blade this heavy.

    Thursday - Candlelight shave

*power failure JUST as I was about the get into the shower. Lit 4 big candles and showered and then shaved:

    Boker King Cutter 6/8
    Badger brush
    Omega Soap
    Thayer's
    Proraso AS
    Nivea ASB
    Bigelow Green cologne

Actually a pretty darn fine shave today. Close and comfy. I missed a couple of spots (what can I say - it was dark...) but overall, pretty good.

Yeah, I don't mind Firefox, but I'm not sure I like the way it organises Favourites and I've got a 'thing' about correct spelling. I've got a little add in that allows me to spell check any text field which is quite handy. If there was one for Firefox I'd probably swap. I actually need to upgrade the whole laptop... And way, I'm off topic...as always...

A special thank you goes to those that checked in with me with PMs and emails. This is what makes this brotherhood so special...It goes beyond SOTD and a few fancy shmancy shaves. It's all about friendships and human connections.

I am trying to officially slow my brain activities (whatever is there, which is not much) for the holidays. The the past few weeks, this is how I felt (before and after)

    Jeff,
That is one beautiful blade brother...I yet have to shave with a W&B I didn't like. Especially these choppers. As intimidating as their size is, they are one of gentlest blades around, and they take on an amazing edge (effortlessly). Use her in good health and glad to see you finally brought this baby out from hiding

Sounds like a very "intimate" shave buddy, LOOOOOL. best way to spend some "Me-Time". Great job.

Well, Robert, let's see a shave, Maestro!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
