    Default Friday

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

I haven't been posting regularly this week, partly because I've been quite busy trying to get round and see people (during my short visit to the UK) and partly because I only have one Razor with me.

I generally travel with the Dovo Master's as it's Stainless and slightly easier to look after away from home, I do dry it off properly, but I don't bother oiling it daily whilst I'm away.

    Prep: Run, Shower
    Strop: TI Paddle Strop
    Brush: Semogue 2030, Badger
    Soap: Palmolive Stick
    Razor: Dovo Master's
AS: TOBS, Collection No 74, Victorian Lime

The shave was great, I'm really enjoying the TOBS Victorian Lime, it smells, well quite Victorian.

    Have a Great Day

Nah, Robert is a sophisticated guy, he doesn't want to show off, that's tacky, you know. He has a Rhodium blade now, with titanium scales.

As for the "Mysterious Maxtom"...Don't worry. It will make its grand premier on Christmas Day--or shortly thereafter.
Awesome buddy. I very much look forward to that report. Merry Christmas

Well done Sargon, but I am sure there are plenty of better options for a beard prep than canned goo.

Personally, I scoop some off into the bowl

    Cheers Mike,
That is one beautiful shave. Love the Eagle, but love the Uber even more. That's a wonderful combo. I wouldn't share that 1 hr either.

OK. This post is not really a Shave Of The Day (in fact it's not a Shave of the Day at all), it's a Message To The People, It's a Message to my Mates at the end of the year, it's a message to those who have supported me by their messages. It's a message to those who's comments go beyond the boundaries of a simple forum, it's a message to those whose comments form part of a brotherhood, it's a message to those whose comments are understood, it's a comment that says, "It's a lot more than shaving; it's sharing..."

It's a message of the season; it's "hey, I like you guys.." It's a punching of knuckles, It's a slap on the back, it's a "I'll get you a beer; what are you drinking?", it's a "Hey, don't worry, shit happens.." It's a "I Understand.. I do..."..It's a "I like being part of this forum"..

The picture is all of me, it really is. Everything that is me is in the picture, from Jesus, to the Australian Army, to everything else that you can see. This is a picture of my desk in my bedroom, it is fundamental. It represents.

It's the the last post of the year, and it a 'thanks'...
