Soap: GFT Sandalwood
AS: Proraso
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
First go with this soap and I like it and I had read up on it and it was harder than other soaps to lather and I still can get it better, I think. First time ever I flooded my enormous SWK scuttle as well, since I loaded like mad + had water on the soap for a minute or two. But what about the razor you're wondering by now - it was AWESOME!

What a great way to start this holiday week! The Toyo was smooth and sharp. I was BBS on all but the most challenging places after a single pass. Just did a few touch ups and left it with that. My face feels great, and I smell wonderful too. Cut the moustache off yesterday. So today was only about the second time shaving my upper lip in the last 15 years or so and definitely the second time with a straight razor on the upper lip. No blood so far but it just kind of feels awkward. SWBO digs the baby face look but I sure can't say I'm a big fan.The older I get, the better I was
