Excellent moisture. AS: Alum + Lucky Tiger Splash + OBR Peppercorn & Limes Edc: OBR Original Cologne - a Beautiful OBR Sunday Result: This Robeson is amazing. She was a 'bay rescue months ago, and I still haven't restored it, and I won't until the edge stinks and I won't mind if it is dulled. Right now, she has an edge second to none in my collection. I wish it were my bevel but it is not. It arrived this way, all I had to do was refresh it, and WOW. 1 pass CBS today, and I called it good. I had the pressure and the angles just right!!! No burn, nicks or cuts. The alum had no sting to it today. I cleaned up, thanked my God for the amazing shave and put everything away. Even the lather was extreme today. I love it when everything just comes together. I also used my left hand on the totality of my left face and neck. Just exceptional today. Now if the Bronco's beat the Pats it'll be perfect!!
Happy Shaving!!!!
Mike

Thanked: 17Super Sunday SOTD!
It has been a while (again) but, today is a preparing for vacation day so I "needed" to take some time to relax and shave.
Prep: hot shower and lingering lather
Brush: Classic Shaving Badger
Soap: Fitjar Såpekokeri Lighthouse Bay Rum
Razor: Dovo Blackie
Post: RazoRock Alum, Thayer’s Lemon and a splash of Dominican Bay rum
The other day I took some time on the hone to refresh the Blackie and I think I am getting better every at honing every time.
Sharp and smooth although in my laid back and relaxed state I did put another nick in the strop, but s**t happens so on with the show.
Two passes with a excellent lather, the CS brush was a good deal (funny how gear is always a good deal) and the stiffer bristles are nice. I will need to pick up more of the lighthouse bay rum as I do love the lather and the scent is great... now that I can see the bottom of the shave dish it can only be a matter of shaves before it is gone...
Off to visit the Phoenix area tomorrow... I was going to lop off the mustache then I checked the passport and figured I should probably look like the guy in the picture.
Have a great week gents.

Pre: Hot shower
Strop: SRD Red Latigo x50
Soap: SRD Unscented
Brush: Simpson B4
Razor: Dovo Pearlex 6/8
Post: Gillete Sensitive Gel
2 passes tonight. Totally satisfied. First nick of the ear lobe, too. Also placed an order with SRD for a travel case, yet another razor, and a Thater brush I have multiple disorders. This is now the 4th order from SRD this month. Unfortunately, no time for a picture as the dogs were driving the Wife nuts.Last edited by Crzylizard; 12-18-2011 at 11:15 PM.

Today's Shave was in preparation to return to work after two weeks of medical leave. Don't know if I am ready, but I'll give it a shot.
Hot Shower, Stephan's rubbed into the whiskers
Warm oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
Custom Badger Brush
Truefitt and Hill Almond Shave Cream
Maxterpiece Otto Fromm,#72 5/8 full hollow in Horn
SRD Strop, 50 felt, 100 leather
Razorock Aluminum
Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel
Vaseline for men
First time using Truefitt and Hill shave cream. very nice, lathers well, nice glide and the almond aroma is superb. The Fromm did a great job removing a few days of growth.
have a great evening.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
