Well both of these were only honed with a 4K/8K Norton. Not the best 3 pass but not the worst either. Think I need to try and squeek out a little more of the 8K. Very interesting though.

    Default Thursday Shave

PREP: Hot shower with face scrub
    RAZOR: Welington
    BRUSH: Rudy Vey Chubby
    SOAP: Irisch Moos
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers
    ASB: Skinfood
    EDT: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
    RESULTS: CLEAN AND REFRESHED
I finally got around to doing a proper straight razor shave( after using DE's for about a month) and what a shave it was. The IM lathered perfectly and the Welington took care of the rest. Nothing like a BBS shave to start my morning.
    AWESOME SHAVES GUYS!!!!!!

    Thursday

    today's set-up:

    Boker King Cutter 6/8
    Badger brush
    Tom's of Maine Calendula SC
    Thayer's
    Booster's June Clover AS
    Nivea ASB
    Trumper's Spanish Leather cologne

I really like the Boker, but it gives me a somewhat of a rough ride - I think it needs a 'gentler hand' than the other razors I am using. I'm feeling a tad razor burned today.
