    Thursday

    1962 Gillette Slim Adjustable
Shark blade (unknown number of uses)
    Altesse Badger brush
    Pacific Natural shave cream
    Pinaud Clubman A/S

Slept in today (still on winter break) so I didn't shave until after lunch and I didn't feel like using a straight today so I grabbed the only DE I had a blade in at the moment. Good, but not great, shave. To quote Arthur Dent: "It must be a Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays."

How did you know?? You set the bevel ultra fast and it's easier to go on free hand (which I did a couple of times) ... In addition to this lovely blade I'll record an instruction video on how to hone with a file as well ...

You should feel the edge on this one, Robert, you would love it. I'm a bit jealous on Bill, he's going to have such a sweet blade (once he understands what a great deal this is)!

    Great looking setup my man.

I wondered where you were. Thought you had been kidnapped by a buxom bevy of Beverly Hills beauties.

    First Shave in Five Days
    Razor: W&B Bow Razor
Brush: Semogue Owner's Club Boar Cherrywood
    Strop: episaacs Roo Strop
    Prep: Shower & Proraso Pre/Post
    Lather: Cella
    Post: Alum & WH
    AS: Dominica Bay Rum
    ASB: Trumper's Unscented
Comments: It felt great to get a shave in after five days and this W&B Bow Razor is a dream shaver. I honed it myself on the Nortons, finishing on the 8k, so that means it has the potential to shave even better when I get more honing practice. Overall, it left me in a state of euphoria! The full writeup is now posted in The Noob Chronicle in the Beginner's section. Best of the season to my SOTD Brothers!
