Well this one had been sitting in a box for the last few months after the move. When I got it she was a total rust bucket. Couldn't even tell it was a Tally Ho. Lots of buffer work and it was cleaned up. But then it was relegated to a box with 8 others. She kept calling me and here you are. New Horn scales with Red G10 wedge spacer. Honed up this am. Norton 1/4/8K followed by a naniwa 12K then Shapton 16K. 40 laps on SRD IV Nylon webbing, 50 laps on the Briddle leather, 80 laps on my Roo. Ahhhhhhh!
So the shave you might be asking? Great lather held a 3 pass RDFS(really damm fine shave) toped off with the Jermyn st and gucci = a great day.
Hope you like as I sure do!

    Saturday

DE day. The Mühle did very well with the C O Bigalow cream. I do like the way I can tackle those problematic N E growing neck hairs with a DE.
I need to get ready for my son’s engagement party, so can’t spend too much time posting this morning. The affair is a typical ‘Aussie’ one though; a low key BBQ in the back yard. No, there are no prawns involved…

    Razor: Mühle R 89
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: C O Bigalow
    ASB: None
After Shave: Pinaud Clubman and Burberry ‘The Beat’ Eau de Toilette

That's no good! That fiber's an important thing!

    Hope she's feeling better.

    Friday Night

Edwin Jagger DE89 with a Wilkinson Sword Blade
    Nanny's Sandalwood Soft Soap
    Omega Boar
Blend of Boots Freshwood balm with witch hazel and Azzaro

No picture tonight, had a tough kickboxing class and just wanted a soak in the bath and though I would have a shave while doing so.

I've never used a straight in the bath, preferring a safety razor on such occasions. The shave was great and conducted by touch, the balm at the end making up for any mistakes due to tired limbs.

I really enjoyed the class tonight and we had a great sparring session at the end. Those that are happy to, hit hard enough that you want to avoid getting but not full power. The last round of the night I was up against one of our better fighters, although I managed to hold my own most of the round I was caught with a couple of excellent punches either of which would have dropped me, had they been full power. A great learning experience and nothing teaches you to keep a tight guard better than taking a few taps when you don't!
    Regards
    Nic
