01-20-2012, 03:52 PM #197Thursday's Shave
Razor: W&B 6/8 Barber's Notch (restored by me) Hones: Norton 1k Bevel, 4k/8k pyramids, CH12k, Thuri Strop: SRD Latigo 50/50, episaacs 'roo 100 Brush: Omega Pro 49 Lather: MWF AS: Trumper's Spanish Leather ASB: Trumper's Unscented Comments: Well, last night was a bit of a tough one, as my little princess was in rough shape with abdominal pains again, so we were up for a second trip to emergency of the week. Luckily, this time they were able to determine the problem, which will only require more fibre in her diet to fix. The shave yesterday was pretty nice, though I think I can get some more out of this razor, so I'll probably take it back down to another pyramid on the 4k/8k, then back through the CH12k and Thuri finishing routine. Or maybe I'll go to the coti. I haven't decided yet. Anyway, another night at the ER until 1AM meant that, by the time I got home, there was no way I was posting anything on forums, so here it is today. I'll also update the Noob Chronicle this morning. Happy shaving, my SOTD Brothers!

Hi Zephyr,
Do you have more photos and closeups of that Hart? I will probably buy one at some point in the next several months and I am thinking about getting the black resin scales, but I can't tell what they really look like. I was also trying to decide between that and wood, satin or polished. Any further photos would be much appreciated!
Thanks!Last edited by Maximilian; 01-20-2012 at 03:58 PM. Reason: http://www.straightrazorplace.com/forums/shave-day/61162-how-keep-our-sotd-tidy-organized.html

So no shave today.
