    Razor: Welcome
    Soap: Nannys French Lavender

Nice razor, a pity all makers but Issard didn't survive in the Thiers region.

Feather delivered another fine shave, two pass shave with a very delicate touch up, can't speak highly enough regarding the Vito's soft soap really delivers a super slick lather.

    Prep: Hot Water Wash
    Razor: Torrey Barber Notch
    Brush: Semogue 2000
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    AS: Nivea Double Action Balm
    Finish: Aqua Velva Classic

As advertised, this was the new Torrey's final exam. After no shave yesterday it was a target rich environment. Good crisp edge on this razor and it effortlessly mowed down the stubble. Two passes (N-S then S-N) produced a CBS shave. I'd say the final exam was Aced. This razor looks like one of those that will only get better with use.

Nice and confortable shave. A bad one is almost imposible with this straight razor.

I've been doing the JaNorton honing thing since Christmas, but as I was sitting doing some honing today, I decided to go all the way up the progression with my finest tools on this custom razor.
