Well, last night was a bit of a tough one, as my little princess was in rough shape with abdominal pains again, so we were up for a second trip to emergency of the week. Luckily, this time they were able to determine the problem, which will only require more fibre in her diet to fix.

Those are some scary times. Very happy they found out what is causing her pain.

Happy she is OK. The old saying "an apple a day" still stands. Raisin bran is good also, and kids like it since it is sweet.

    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Brush: Custom Silvertip Badger in Cocobolo
    Soap: MWF
    Razor: Bengall 6/8
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
Same rig as my last post a few days ago, only this time with a better result.
I took the Bengall back to the stones, and the edge is much better.
2 passes and a DFS for me tonight.

Sorry about the lack of participation this week boys. The last few nights I've tried to squeeze in some honing as well as researching how to hone knives. I need to sharpen that Bowie knife that was in my Sunday night photo earlier this week.
There's just nowhere near enough hours in the day.
    Enjoy the weekend gentlemen

Well Grant, the offer is open to you if you need knife honing done. Or like I said, if it makes it easy, cut yourself a wedge of timber to raise the spine of that Bowie 20-25 degrees off the stone as a guide jig...Here to help if you need it.
