I received the custom double from Julie @ Dirty Bird Yesterday. I ordered it back in November but Julie explained they take a long time to dry. She also warned me about the size of it, but I was pretty persuasive and she agreed to make me one. The thing is absolutely huge. I ordered it because I was always making a mess with the shave cream over flowing scuttle. This beautiful piece of pottery will hold enough suds to lather my face a few dozen times if needed.

Nice scuttle. It has to be huge. I tried to get Julie to make a brown & tan one like your 1.5, but she said she doesn't do the browns anymore because they have to be fired at a higher temp. I wound up getting a custom Moss instead, but still love the looks our your 1.5.

My oldest razor and my only wedge. I don't use it often as prefer hollow grounds partly because I can hear the shave better, if that makes sense. None the less a damn fine shave, wasn't aiming for BBS, and got clean close and comfortable.
