    Default Thursday

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Edwin Jagger best badger
    Soap: Mama Bear's Bay Rum
Strop: Tony Miller Heirloom tri-strop (3x25)
    Razor: Wacker 8/8 "Magnum"
ASB: Mama Bear's Winter ASB Aged Spice

All and all an OK shave, but I think I'll have to give this one a few rounds on the Swaty before the next time around.

    Default Australia Day Shave

    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: MickR's Kangaroo Hide
    Brush: Comoy Badger
Cream: Wahl Traditional Barber's Shave Cream
    Razor: Bengall 6/8
    Toner: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Its Australia Day down here so I decided to go with a few Aussie ingredients in tonights shave.
The Wahl Cream doesn't really have an appealing smell and tastes awful if it gets on your lips, but it performs well, and I really like the Bay Rum.
    A satisfying 2 pass DFS.
The weather in my area wasn't exactly perfect for Australia Day BBQ's, its been pouring with rain all day and some of the local towns are flooded
But despite that we still managed to have the good old back yard water slide and water fight to mark the occasion.
Now to sit down and watch Nadal Vs Federer in the tennis.

    AS: Aqua Velva Classic

Great shaves aren't all that uncommon but this one kicked it up a whole other notch or two. Blugill would have called this Catfish Belly Smooth for sure. Haven't done a SOTD drawing for some time so here goes

This razor still needs more work. Very troublesome to hone, so far.

    Thursday

    Merkur Futur
    Astra (1)
    Altesse Badger brush
    Col. Conk Lime
    Booster Iced Lime A/S
    Royall Lyme

Super rushed 3-pass shave this morning. I woke up more than 1 hour late because my alarm did not go off (the time probably didn't get re-set after a brief power outage yesterday). Got out of bed at 6:39 and was in the car heading to work at 6:58--showered, shaved, dressed, and drank 1 cup of coffee in that time (drank second cup of coffee in route to work)!
