Fantastic shave! 3 pass and smelling and feeling CBS. Not quite perfect but close. I love this blade in how hard it is but takes an awesome edge. These scales where done almost a year ago and they were the first G10 I worked with. Good memories.

RAZOR: Alex Jacques Custom 8/8+ "Meat Chopper" Spanish Point w/Gray G10 Scales
BRUSH: Merkur Futur Silvertip Badger
SOAP/CREAM: Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
AFTER SHAVE: Floid Suave After Shave Lotion
COLOGNE: Penholigon's Quercus
This is my second shave with this razor and I have to say it was even better than the first. Two passes was all it took to get BBS. The weight of the blade combined with the "Meat Chopper" smiling edge make it very easy to maneuver around the contours of my face and neck. I can see that this is going to become my goto razor real soon.
Cheers,
Chris

Thanked: 485Saturday
DE day. I decided to use my new stick of Arko today. It works well with the DE. It’s so easy to use. I’m amazed that after rubbing the slightly wet stick on my wet face for only a minute and then face lathering I can get such a good lather. It’s not a very ‘oomphy’ cream; not a lot of cushion (in comparison to say, O Melhor or Musgo Real) but I find I don’t need a lot of cushion when I use the DE.
A full three passes to completely eliminate any feel of hairs anywhere, including my neck.
Razor: Mühle R 89 Blade: Gillette 7 O’clock Pre Shave: Proraso Cream: Arko shave stick ASB: Witch Hazel/Proraso Liquid cream AS After Shave: None

Thanked: 485Thank you. It's a 1954 Rolleicord. Medium format (6x6) which means the negatives are huge in comparison to 35mm. It has an excellent lens, the best camera I've ever used. here are the 'stats':
