    Tuesday

A nice shave this morning with the Schulze Wiener Schaber. I’ve heard this razor likened to a racing car, and it certainly is small and manoeuvrable, but just a little TOO small (a short 4/8). I’m really hanging out to try a 6/8; a 5/8 is the widest I have at the moment.

The Dominica Bay Rum was just the thing for a hot day here in Adelaide. The cream I used was La Toja, I don’t think I’ll buy this cream again; it’s a nice cream, but hardly any smell (it’s the ‘sensitive’ version); the ‘standard’ one might have more of a scent; I do like a cream with a lot of scent. I threw out the Musgo Real tube today (it was finished), and I reminded myself of the scent before doing so by taking a whiff. I LOVE the scent of Musgo; I’ll definitely get some more of that one…

Have a good day everyone, be good, be healthy and be happy…

    Razor: Schulze Wiener Schaber
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: La Toja
    ASB: None
    After Shave: Dominica bay Rum

    Prep: 240 volt
Brush: Honestly I don't have enough hair. I use a cheap plastic comb.
Soap: No thanks I just use that powder to give me that cheap 1700's lady of the night feeling. It also helps to save face apparently. Keep some on you when traveling to Japan.
Strop: Bloke in a 1970's comedy with Paul Hogan
Razor: Phillishave 8894...When only Pierce Brosnan will do for a James Bond character
Result: Like I hadn't even shaved! How good is that?! Hey?!

    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Soap: L'Occitane Cade
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Razor: Royal Invicta 6/8
    Toner: Thayer's cucumber Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
Result: Just 2 quick passes tonight because I was in a hurry to sit down to watch the Australian Open Tennis.
The Invicta, which was my first straight razor, performed beautifully. The Cade, I enjoy more every time I use it.
