Thumbs up Sun January 22nd - Sat January 28th

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: The Baltic Cutlery Co.
    Brush: C2 2 band
    Soap: Proraso
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASB: Aqua Velva

Last weeks shaving was so amazing I decided to take the Baltic Cutlery Co. for another spin. And again it didn't disappoint. It's really one of a kind. 50 laps on leather and she was all ready to go. This time I used the refreshing Proraso cream and Aqua Velva balm. WooHoo. Refreshing indeed.
We finally had a few drops of rain today. Hadn't seen any rain since December 18th, Unfortunately not enough, However we are having gusty winds up to 60mph. Still going on as I type.
Gents. keep up the excellent SOTD's!

    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: L'Occitane
    Razor: Invicta 13/16
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: Nivea Replenishing
    A/S:Old Spice
The Invicta has been in pieces for 3-4 weeks now. I wasn't happy with the pinning on one side of the wedge pin, so I took it completely apart to re-pin the whole lot and used different washers this time. While I was at it I ordered some Micro-Mesh and polished the scales to a new level. She looks great now.
After all that I though the edge would need a little refresh, so it went on the Coticules and then the Thuri.
    The shave was SUPERB.
A 2 pass BBS, and what a great way to start the SOTD week

    Default A later shave today

    I just finished up.

I was in the shop earlier this morning, and just...just put this razor together and took it to the hones this afternoon. It's a 7/8 W&B For Barber's Use, and it'll head home soon.

By the time I decided to post this, I'd already rinsed the lather out of the brush....sorry. All you get is a razor and whiskey pic today.

    But just for the record:

Razor: 7/8 W&B For Barber's Use, full hollow
    Brush: Tumtatty extrordinaire in Padauk.
Soap: Two....first lather with Ingram's cream, rinsed and replaced with Proraso "Green"
    Strop: SRD Roo and webbing.
A/S: none...too much menthol and eucalyptus already!
