    Friday

Day off work today and happily my new shaving cream, the O Melhor, arrived from Ireland, very fast postage; about 12 days. The site (shaving.ie) doesn’t have a HUGE amount of stuff, but it does have what appears to be quite hard to get stuff (for me) and excellent prices too, cheaper than I can get on an Australian on-line store, even considering postage.

I’d hung off getting another tube (or two or three) of Musgo Real. I really like Musgo, but wanted to find out if I liked O Melhor more; I’d heard it was really nice. So, is it my new favourite? It’s hard to say after one shave, especially since it lathers SO easily (you really only need a tiny amount, I used too much) and feels SO creamy and has great cushion. But (there’s always a but) it has hardly any scent. I like strong scented creams and soaps. I do like the big cap on the O Melhor (it makes it easy to stand it up on the shelf), so it’s actually a toss-up between Musgo and O Melhor for my favourite. I guess I could always put a couple of drops of Bay Rum, essential oils or Clubman in with the cream…That might actually be one advantage of a light scent; the ability to add your own.

I bought an Arko shaving stick too, I’ll try that tomorrow. I’ve never used a shaving stick before…

    Razor: Klas Törnblom
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: O Melhor
    ASB: None
    After Shave: Pinaud Clubman

I just ordered a tube of the O Melhor. I'm happy to hear this promising report!
