It just dawned on me that this is going to be my 1st SOTD post featuring a DE. The DE is typically resereved for travel or when I'm REALLY pressed for time. Unfortuneatly the weather here caused my RA to flare and I honestly didn't trust my hands as they are affected the worst. I know, pretty wierd and sad that a 32 year old guy has RA, but I can't fight my genetics.

Prep: Hot Shower + Proraso Pre/Post
    Scuttle: G5
    Brush: Jack Black Synthetic :headbang:
Suds: Prarie Creations + Trumpers + Glycerin
Razor: Ikon SKS + SuperMax Super Platinum
    Post: Alum + WH
    ASB: CO Bigelow Bay Rum
    AS: Dominca Bay Rum

Results: bit of better lather today but I kind of got carried away with how much glycerin I added. as I mentioned the hands are killing me so the DE was called to duty. I love this razor and pretty much put all my other DEs to bed once I got this one. 2 passes was all I needed to get ready for the weekend.

    Default S.O.T.D Friday Feb 10 2012

Good day fellas I hope you are all doing well. I havent been on S.O.T.D recently because I spent the whole week without a shave, anticipating getting a bunch of razors back from Glen and a strop from Tony Miller. Soo worth the wait! I had three blades to choose from, My TI Le Grelot, a spanking new Red Imp and a W.M.Greaves & Sons wedge that maximilan had restored for me a while back. I went with the wedge because it was honed with a coticule and I have never shaved with a coticule honed razor. It was another great shave! very smooth and comfortable. I see why coti's are so sought after. No need to use the strop as per Glens instructions but it looks and feels great and I cant wait to use it.
so for the record here it is gents ...
