Gentlemen, I have been testing my new Joris open comb in the past two days with different blades. The razor gives incredible shaves, the closest I have ever had, but I am not sure if my extremely sensitive skin is a match for the razor. The Joris shaves much like a straight razor, and if you have shaved with the straight — short strokes, light pressure, proper angle, and so on — you can handle it technically. I do. No problem. No nicks, razor burn or similar evils. Yet the razor is not for those with extremely sensitive skin: Moi. After all, they don't call my face "Hollywood" for nothing, you know?

Razor: Joris open comb in light bone handle
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: Shavemac
    Cream: Castle Forbes lavender
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Scuttle: Schwarzweisskermik
    Alum
    Witch hazel
    Balm: Trumper's Coral Skin Food
Aftershave: Pashana muted with a touch of witch hazel
