Thumbs up Sun April 15th - Sat April 21st

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Gebr Geldmacher 86
    Brush: C2
    Soap: Ogallala BayRum
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASB: Ogallala BayRum/Sandalwood

For today's shave I pampered myself with BayRum. Got a new Hansgrohe raindance wide shower head and took a very long shower. The rain effect on your skin is very relaxing. Very nice. Totally different as opposed to those high pressure waterpik shower heads. Paired with the Bay Rum hand soap the whole shower smelled divine. Whipped up some lather when I was done and was totally BBS after my usual 3 passes + a few touch-ups on those few rebelious growing beard patches. A splash of the BR/Sandalwood and my skin was extremely smooth and slick feeling. Got a very nice compliment from the misses and Vivi's tail was wiggling when I came out of the bathroom.

Wishing all my brothers an excellent SOTD.

Sick end to a 3 day beard!

I felt the C&S tugging a little when I shaved with it last week and under the microscope found a few microchips.
So it went back to the BBW with slurry diluting to water followed by the Coticule with water.
A beautiful 3 pass BBS shave was my reward. I'll give it a few laps on the Thuri tonight, but I just wanted to feel the Coti edge.

Snow! Shouldn't you be coming in to Spring?

Nice scales! How are they joined at the non pivot end? Or are they a single piece of wood? I'm not sure I've ever seen scales of a single piece of wood...
