    Sunday Afternoon Shave

    Hot Shower
    W&B 7/8 Barber's Use in Padauk
    Semogue 1460
    SRP Black Latigo
RazoRock King Louis Lavender Shave Gel
RazoRock King Louis Lavender Shaving Soap
    RazoRock King Louis Lavender AS
RazoRock King Louis Lavender AS Wax
    RazoRock Lavender EDT

A nice, easy Sunday afternoon shave. I still don't have the feel right for this wedgy razor, but I got the job done in the end. I did cut myself on the touch ups by trying to be fancy and using a kamisori

Night time shave. My daughter picked out the shaving cream for me. TOBS St James. I decided to match it with Dr Harris Lavender.

    Sunday shave.

Prep:18 km run followed by a hot shower

Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8 ( honed by Lynn)
    Stop: SRP red Latigo
Brush: Golden Nib 22 mm finest in an old ever ready handle
    Cream: my own Vetiver SC
    Thayers
    Addidas Deep Energy AS

    Nivea ASB

I found a local soap making place that sells what they call "cream soap base" . The list of ingredients is pretty much identical to JM Frasers SC. I mixed up a small amount with Vetiver essential oil and hit style lather bowl. I am VERY impressed...this is pretty much exactly the same as JM Frasers sc in terms of lather, glide and protection.

Combined with the Lynn honed Dovo, I had a perfect shave.

Using this razor is nice, but it does remind me of just how far I have to go in terms of honing a razor.... This Dovo is smooth as butter and shaves like a dream. It's the benchmark, the target, the objective for me for honng my own blades.... Someday .....
