Snow! Shouldn't you be coming in to Spring?
Cheers Carl! I hope you survived yesterdays b-day party! No, I don't think they did that, top of the line blade though and in my mind the peek of Solingen razors (together with a couple of other brands).

Yes, we really should have spring by now and we had it a couple of days ago . Yesterday you couldn't see these guys, but today the sun's working wonders and it looks like this in our backyard now (all the snow was gone three to four weeks ago and I thought it was over for this time, but now we have lots of snow behind our house again ):

Razor – Mappin 7 day set
    Brush – Simpson Chubby#2
Soap – Al Raz - Saigon
    Ast – ALUM
    AS – D.R. Harris Sandalwood

    Good day one and all,

A Mappin 7 day set will make this week’s razor choice easy. These wedge blades have a “Trustworthy” double smile. This immaculate set that must have sat un-used in a drawer for a long time. I feel fortunate to get to use these razors. The D.R. Harris Sandalwood AS was recommended in another SOTD thread by a fellow member. I had to try it and am quite pleased with the subtle scent and performance. Have a great week fellas.

Carl, yes it's a single piece of wood:

PREP: Hot shower with Sandalwood soap
    RAZOR: Muhle r 101 (2011 head)
    BLADE: Feather
    BRUSH: Simpson chubby 2
    CREAM: Spencer and Devon "Spice"
    ASB: Lubriderm 3in1
    AS/EDC Ogallala Bay Rum
RESULTS: I apologize for no pic, my Mac took a crap and I can't get it to boot up, but this shave was one of the greats. I received the Spencer and Devon cream and had to give it a whirl. The scent is very relaxing similar to a Bayrum but with a oriental spin on it almost. The performance for me at least was better than Xpec, and needless to say I will be stockpiling this cream in the near future .Coupled with the muhle r 101 in hand and some Bayrum to top it off, I can't ask for a better Start to a Sunday ( well maybe if my computer had been working )
GUYS OUTSTANDING PHOTOS THIS MORNING , HAVE A GREAT ONE !!
