Castle Forbes Lavender/TOBS Rose-Wosty Wedge 1/4 hollow-DB 1.5-22MM Silvertip-Nivea ASB
Fantastic shave tonight after work. 3 pass greatness. Can the smell of this combo be beaten? I would be hard pressed to find a better floral then this. Matter of fact, it is my go-to when ever anyone wants an ecenomical but wonderful lather that reminds me of spring. BBS and sticky soft.
Great posts all.

Thanked: 485Tuesday
A day off work to take Bailey, my grandson, to the hospital to see the bone surgeon. It ended up that my wife took him, as my car has issues. The bone still hasn’t knitted after almost four months! However, the good news is that there’s still no sign of the cancer, so I’m happy. It may also be that he’ll end up with more function in the arm than we thought, which is great considering his Fibula is now in his upper arm!
I decided to hone the De Pews after taking the dog for a walk to the forest. I mucked around on the Norton 8k and Shapton 16k.
The lather I made to shave with was incredible; Proroso soap, Faulding ‘Shave’ and Glycerine (a good amount) which resulted in really soft, creamy lather. Probably close to the best Überlather I’ve ever made. I used almost too many products to mention, and they were hard to all fit in the first lot of photos. When I looked at the result on the computer, I noticed some shaving cream still on the razor, so I needed to take the picture again, sans software. I’m glad I did. I decided I needed a little more light, and so used the tiny torch I’ve been shining behind my bottles of AS lately to light them up a bit. This time I directed it on the front of the razor, and I think it worked well.
Razor: De Pews Pre-Shave: Sukin Facial Moisturiser Überlather : Proraso soap/Faulding ‘Shave’/Glycerin Aftercare : Witch Hazel After Shave : Proraso Liquid Cream Aftershave Eau de Toilette: Whiskey
