Thumbs up Sun July 08th - Sat July 14th

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
Razor: Kama - Koch & Schäfer
    Brush: C2
Soap: QED - Lemon and Cedar
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASW: Razorock
EDT: Herrera For Men - Carolina Herrera

Seems the whole country has gone into the triple digits. We are going to hit 112F the next few days but this is not abnormal. We have minimum over a hundred days a year the temperature is over 100F. At least the beer's always chilled and limes enough to make mojito's. But the parts of the country where they are not used to the extreme temperatures are suffering at the moment. I guess the same goes for Europe that's also going through some heatwave.

I had a nice and clean 3 pass BBS shave with the freshly honed Kama.

Wishing all my brothers a super duper new SOTD week.

    Have Fun.

    Good morning friends.
Yesterday I framed some of the photographies of our trip (13'' x 19'')

Unspectacular shave with an "unknown" razor.
It is only ... a Maxterpiece!

...and another picture taken in San Francisco...
    Just do it!

The picture has very little relevance to any sort of reality; a blue tinge, swans floating idyllically on a Tasmanian Blackwood table top early evening Mount Torrens time, a glass of wine, family around, a game of basketball with the vibrant, healthy young sons; them laughing at my running style borne from worn, weak knees; chill air, returning to a warm humble house with warm home-made humus slapped lavishly on home-made pitta bread, many dogs milling around, a setting sun setting behind a mountain, 60’s psychedelic rock playing in the background, grandson staying the night; a holiday air, a beating heart, an ability to love and be loved, what more; what more is there?

The Wade and Butcher was smooth as silk; two passes; I wanted more but desisted. The Madame Scodioli/Cirmes after shave was bliss, bliss; at it is always…

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson, Chubby 2
    Razor: Bartmann
Super lather: Lea (Menthol cream + soap)
    AS: La Toja
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Crap lather, love the feel of Lea Menthol, but I didn't manage to do this combo correctly and got a thin slimy version of a lather ... the shave went well anyway though and this big blade (15/16) behaved very nifty

    ... and some:

Thank you. I always like communicating with you, along with my fellow Shave Of The Dayians. This is a nice forum. Anyone hear from Robert lately?
