PREP: Hot shower
RAZOR: Tuckaway with Feather
BRUSH: Simpson Chubby 2
SOAP: Vintage Yardley
ASTRINGENT: Thayers
AS:Floid
EDT: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
RESULTS: I was fortunate to receive this NOS Yardley from Juan, who only used it once. This thing still smelled amazing when opened and lathered up. I face lather and this is by far the best soap I have ever tried. Its kind of bitter sweet, because I can only use it sparingly to extend it as much as possible, much like my La toja and other products that have been DC. But the silky creamy lather is ridiculous, and my skin is sooooo moisturized I feel amazing.
GREAT SUNDAY SHAVES FROM ALL!!
Also sorry for the bad iphone photo, my DSLR died when I was about to shoot.

Sunday Shave
Cool Shower
Home made balm rubbed into the whiskers
Dirty Bird Scuttle
Castle Forbes Lavender Shave Cream
Custom Badger By Tim
Wade and Butcher 10/8 Wedge, Horn Scales, Brass wedge
SRDP1 100 laps
Razorock Aluminum
Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
Vaseline for men
The home made pre-shave stuff worked really nicely. I used it before the shave and it really seemed to have moisturized my skin before I shaved. My daughter says the Shea butter is really good for my skin and it felt OK. I guess the experiment was a success.
The W&B gave a nice shave and the edge is nice and smooth. Three days of growth easily removed. When I put on the Pinaud, it did burn a bit. Something I've not had happen in a long time. Seems I was a bit heavy handed with the big blade.
Enjoy the day

La Toja-G.F.T Spanish Leather-Mulcuto Gold-DB 1.5-SRP 2011 Silvertip-Jermyn Street ASB-Amouage Epic Man EDP
Absolutely fantastic 3 pass today. Lather A+, Razor A, EDP A+++, Shave A- due to my causing a small nick in my lower lip.(note to self...why do I still sing/hum when shaving????)
If you like leather/spice scents then you have to try the GFT Spanish Leather. Points added if you have some La Toja stashed and can make an Uber with it! Smells very close to the Epic Man.
Have a great Sun all!

Sunday, July 8 Prep: Hot Shower Strop: SRD Premium IV Razor: 5/8 Litchenberger aka Gemstar #53 Soap: SRD Opus X Brush: Thater 4292/4B Post: Alum + Pinaud Result: BBS
Second shave with this razor. Glen put a wonderful edge on it. I love shaving with something around 200 years old. I find I use significantly less pressure using this razor, given that it has absolutely no tail. I think I'll have to modify my grip on other razors to match.
Enjoy the remaining weekend, gents!- Jeremy -
