I love those pics Bill, just up my alley. I used to do a lot of night photography myself, many moons ago, cityscapes in black and white were my addiction.

I use a piece of white paper card for mine. I take the photos on the dining room table with the paper laid on the table and curved up against a chair back. I use just natural light from the window or the incandescent light. Originally Posted by Scookum

The Jernbolaget is certainly a very nice razor. Had you honed the Hellberg frameback at all? I know I'm not a great and powerful honer like some here, and I'll never hone a couple of thousand razors, but it was nice to get it so right this time and the last (with the Jernbolaget). In fact, I don't even know if that pyramid I used is 'valid', but it did work for me... Originally Posted by Mikael
