Sun September 30th - Sat October 06th
Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
Razor: Dovo Bergischer Lowe
Brush: SRP 2011 LE
Soap: Tabac
Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
AS: A.r.a..m.i.s
EDT: A.r.a.m.i.s
A very clean and crisp combo for today's shave. Perfect combo between the Tabac and Aramis. It's a strong, powerful (yummy) scent. The Bergischer Löwe does a great job for a new production razor and the SRP LE 2011 brush is a pure heavenly joy to use. I'm all clean shaven.
I've seen some great shaves this past week. Eagerly awaiting the new week. Enjoy!

Thanked: 485Sunday
Up earlyish showered, mocca pot coffee, French coffee bowl, a walk to the top of Mount Torrens with a light mist falling from the sky. On return, shaved.
I am currently ironing shirts and watching a documentary on the digging of the tunnel from England to France. It is hard to fully contain my excitement…

Razor: Dovo Bergischer Lowe 5/8
Brush: Rooney Heritage Super Size 1 (small)
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
A/S: L'Oréal balm
I'd been looking at this razor for years, and it finally arrived as part of a French-forum group buy. But it came with over-sized ebony scales which I'm sanding down better to fit the small blade (hopefully ), hence temporary faux-tortoise. Lovely little blade though and sharpens up very nicely, have a good weekend!Last edited by MichaelS; 09-30-2012 at 10:22 AM. Reason: typo

09-30-2012, 07:35 AM #6Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Shavemac D01 two band 30 mm
Razor: Mappin and Webb 1/4 hollow
Soap: MdC
AS+edt: Paco Rabanne, Ultraviolet
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean indeed
Lovely shave, this smooth shaver worked wonders together with the MdC soap and the brush's pure luxury (I really lather too hard against my chops, but it's such a nice feeling when I crush it against my throat ).

An early Sunday shave before a long trek out in the forrest today
Tool of the day was one of my very first customs, a 7/8 Tim Zowada Pattern welded razor with a Spanish point.
A bit finicky on the hones this one, but once mastered it is among my finest shavers.
Floris is IMHO not getting the deserved cred at all for some reason.
I love their stuff, and they are easily on par with the other traditional houses out there
Have a great week men!
