    EM Dickinson Invicta Razor
    Semogue 830 Boar Brush
    MWF Shaving Soap
    Clubman ASL

    Results: Smooth Machine

Did not shave for a few days. I was trying to go for a few more but I guess I have impulse control issues. Went for a cold splash shave. Done it before and not gonna do it again. I do not care what Ben Franklin said about cold shaving. Anyway, the Invicta made up for it. She is my favorite. Can you love a razor? I guess so.

    What did he say?
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

He recommended it, citing that it would help the whiskers stand up.

That's interesting, in fact, in an old barber shop manual I read it stated the purpose of soap was to stiffen the hair, not soften...

    Good morning, Gentleman!
    Today a nice Thiers Issard.
I'm still planning our trip to the Dolomites...not with this Jeep. As I told you already, I get my new Rubicon in April/ May.

    Saturday

A day spent with the older son. Coffee, cake, sun, antique shop browsing, honing, beer drinking, Bok Choy with garlic and omelette cooking...

This morning's shave was mainly to define the edges of my facial hair. I apologise for the recycled photo, but I don't feel like taking a picture, so there.

    Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Morris & Forndran blond badger
Razor: Max Sprecher full hollow 8/8
    Soap/AS: La Toja, Manantiales
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

This razor's special, really cool design (I think) combined with excellent shaving abilities
