Thanked: 1072Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Brush: Frank's Shaving Fine Badger
Soap: SRD Vanilla Bourbon
Razor: http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ile-razor.html 7/8
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
This was my first shave with this razor.
I honed it last night, finishing with my new Norton 8K.
Having never shaved off a Norton 8K, and this being the first shave with this razor, I dont have much reference to judge my honing job, but the edge felt good.
I'll take it to the Naniwa 12K and probably the Chrome Ox after that, but for an 8K edge, I'm really happy with tonights shave.
Have a great week boys and thanks for the great posts and pics

Razor – Wade & Butcher, for Barbers Use
Brush – Chubby#2
Soap – Al’s Jubilee
AST – ALUM
AS – D.R. Harris, Sandalwood
The big WB wedge powers through the heaviest beard with ease. The King Midas was being shave tested for a friend. Both were honed without tape. The WB for Barbers Use has a very even grind, evident by the smile at the spine and on the edge. Happy New Year!
