    A pleasant surprise in Athens this morning. It was snowing!

    Although I knew Alabama would win, I was hoping the Irish would. Oh well, maybe next year.

    Anyway, I enjoyed my shave from Sunday, so it was a repeat for Monday.

    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
    Brush - SOC 2 band badger
    Razor - Vintage Boker "King Cutter" 6/8 spike
    Soap - Gillette tube cream
    Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

    Terrific close and smooth cold water face lathered shave. Gillette shave cream did the job but the scent was so so. Getting bored with my soap selection so starting tomorrow I will be trying 5 new ones that have just come in. First up will be MWF to see what all the fuss is about. Have a good one and enjoy the day.
