    Wed, Jan 9

Pre: Hot Shower, 15 Linen, 15 Leather
Razor: Hart 6/8" Square Tip w/Rosewood
Brush: TI Super Badger w/ Black Horn
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle
Soap/Cream: Maca Root by The Body Shop
    Post: Cold water and Alum
    Aftershave: T&H 1805

I went back today and did my old neck routine. Closer and barely more irritation than the convoluted scheme I was trying out. I think all I have to do is balance pressure. I tried out something new today. I used a cream I found at The Body Shop. Seemed pretty good. My first cream so far. Still like soap better but it seems face lathering with cream went a lot faster. Might be good for days I don't want to spend time building from soap. Good scent too. Like walking outside after a spring rain. I couldn't stand VDH. It just smelt funky. Also bought a puck of Williams when I got back. Thinking of ordering Trafalgar and maybe some good colognes soon.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

I reckon you attached two photos, a smaller one and a larger one. The smaller one wasn't actually inserted into the post. Whenever you see the 'attached image' icon thingy it means you forgot to click the Insert button after uploading the photo (or words to that effect)...

Strop: Heirloom Latigo (SRP December Giveaway)
    Brush: FS Fine Badger
    Soap: Proraso
Razors: Long Life 11/16(Grandfather's), Royal Invicta 6/8
    Astringent: Thayer's
    Balm: Nivea
    A/S: Clubman Bay Rum
The combination of 7 days of beard growth and a very hot Summer day was to much for me. I couldn't wait until my night time shower & shave, and had a day shave instead.
Both these razors have been on the Norton 4/8 and finished on the Naniwa 12K.
The 7 day growth was a big ask, but they both performed extremely well, particularly the Invicta.
Which is why its always been one of my favorites.
