Been posting sporadically due to stuff at home with the holidays, kids traveling, work, etc... Today I decided to a few of my favorites and enjoy myself. Got a little nick on my chin which closed with aluminum but I still really enjoyed the shave.
Hot Shower, Stephan's, warm oil
Dirt Bird Scuttle
Castle Forbes Lavender shave cream
Badger, 28mm knot, Macasser ebony body with a Lignum Vitae top cap.
Maxtom, 7/8 : 1/4 Hollow,Barber's notch,Micarta scales and tapered with a pink G10 wedge.

had a quick SOTD , no prep , just suds , blade , and done ...
PRE=NOTHING
SOAP= TAYLOR OF OLD . (SANDALWOOD)
BRUSH= PURE BADGER
RAZOR= W. GREAVES & SONS ( BARBERS USE)
AFTER= CLEANING THE BLOOD OF MY FACE , THAT LEADS TO MY FIRST COTD POST ..LOL

PREP: Hot Shower & American Black Soap Facial Wash and Scrub
PRE-SHAVE: Art of Shaving Lemon Pre-Shave Oil
BRUSH: Art of Shaving Pure Black Badger
SOAP/CREAM: Mitchel's Wool Fat Soap
RAZOR: DOVO Best Quality 5/8 Black
STROP: SRD 3" Black Latigo
SHAVE: 2 passes, WTG/ATG
AS: Proraso White
RESULT: Good shave (This was my first attempt at a FULL Shave)
I also received my awesome bowl. Hand carved Turkish Copper. The bowl is decorated with hand carved floral figures and Ottoman motifs.

I just got the kamisori honed so it went for a test drive. They do get very sharp quite quickly. The technique for the shave is definitely different too. The results were a little spotty due to the lacking technique, but what was done well is on the order of the best shaves to date. The minimal burn from the aftershave indicated that I did not get very rough with myself.
The soap was Klar Kabinett followed by cold water, Dominica Bay Rum and Nivea balm.
