That is one mighty fine blade you have there!
Forget about the problems with the lady friend.
Here's some (funny, but real) therapy. :-)

    Tuesday evening
    Hot water prep
Iwasaki Kamisori 8/8 - Acca Kappa 1869 sc - Silvertip badger brush - cold water splash - alum block - T&H 1805 asb - hot towel - Acca Kappa Muschio Bianco AdC

Yes! My first ever Nihon Kamisori shave! Awesome in one word. The razor was shave ready when it came in and I just had the amount of stubble to take away.
I am a bidextral shaver since about a year now and going back to using just one hand for all the moves needed a bit of adjustment. Had to experiment a bit more than I thought and thus had lather drying out a bit and scored a couple of small nics in the process. Easily closed with the cold water and the alum.
Overall BBS in two passes and very close to a new wave of RAD...
    Will it ever stop?

I'm sure most of us can relate. Hope things are improving.

I love me some limes! Especially when its warm. I own the cologne but not the aftershave.
But, no shave for me today.

Gotta love the limes. I prefer the aftershave to the cologne as it seems to have more of a lime kick to it.

All the Hardware was so great yesterday, I did it again albeit with Mikes Orange Cedarwood Black Pepper. I haven't used this soap in awhile, not sure why because it really performs. More of a summer fragrance for me though. 3 passes and I am smooth as a schoolgirl.

    Wednesday 30th January

    Hot Shower and Facial Scrub
Shavex Brushless cream as a pre shave
    Ford & Medley 333 5/8 Razor
    HJM Black Fibre Brush
    Klar Kabinett Soap
    Witch Hazel
    Argan Oil
    Denim Unleash AS
    Morgans Classic Pomade
    Brian's Own (Moustache Wax)

Back to normal today. I had a bit of a Family emergency and had to go to Leamington Spa on Monday. Imagine my disgust when I discovered that I had forgotton to pack my shaving kit. Consequently I ended up shaving with the above mentioned brushless cream and a single edged Bic. Not good.
The Shavex as it turns out is an acceptable pre shave cream. Todays shave was very close and comfortable with 3 passes.
