Thanked: 1072Strop: Illinois 835
Cream: Castle Forbes Lime
Brush: Comoy Badger
Razor: 11/16 Bengall (Sawn-off)
Astringent: Thayer's Lemon
Balm: Nivea
A/S: Aqua Velva
The CF Lime was a sample Rene sent me last year (Thank you sir) which has been hiding at the back of my shelf.
It lathered beautifully and the smell was amazing.
Unfortunately the shave was bad.
It's been a while since I used this Bengall but I was surprised how below par the edge was. I quit after 1 pass.
This one will be going to the hones later in the evening.
They cant all be great shaves I guess
Thanks for the great posts and pics boys

It was Jacky Boy's first day of school today. He was happy to go, and this afternoon he said he had an awesome day.

I couldn't shave today because my hands were shaking in anticipation, now that the Superbowl is over, of the Chiefs picking Leon Sandcastle with the first overall pick in the draft...

I had not shaved since Thursday so I gave the Revisor a quick touch up of it's edge to make sure it was up to the job. It sliced through the stubble with absolute ease.Keith

Thanked: 146Proraso|G5|Mountain Badger|Tabac Uber|Genco|Tabac|Iggy's Balm
I have been adding 3 to 5 degrees to my angle, must have been too shallow before because the shaves have been phenomenal! Ubered the Tabac soap with some Salter Vetiver and 5 drops of glycerin, what a great combo. 3 passes and beyond BBS.
