Easter Sunday morning shave
~Bengall~Neil Miller bridle~Weyer 2 band~RazoRock Limited Edition/GP scuttle~Afta/Stetson~
Rarely do I shave 2 days in a row anymore, so the big, thin Bengall had light duty this morning after yesterday's Henckels smiling wedge cleanup. Still, wanting to look my best for church and family gathering for a nice Easter feast, I broke it out. What a blade! This is perhaps the most audible blade I own! I might not need a shave for 3 MORE days!
Happy Easter and have a fine week to come, Gents.

It was a long day of travel as I was delayed by traffic due to a large accident on the highway near the Virginia/North Carolina border,
I ask for prayers and thoughts for those involved, at least three families lost loved ones this Easter.
This evening was short and sweet.
Prep: hot shower
Soap: VDH
Strop: 20/50 on my Illinois #827
Razor: My trusty Boker Injun 101
Post Shave: Alum
A/S: Pinaud Clubman
Every moment is a gift, relish in it, cherish it, and be ever thankful for it.
I hope your Easter was blessed.

You need to be careful with this blade, took a fantastic edge, but it will bite you if you don't treat it with respect (like most smaller razors, for me anyway)
... and I'm so happy we finally moved over to summer time, our back yard from today:
