Default Finaly got to home to a shave

Finialy got home late yesterday evening,
My left Ventricle is only working at 35-40% they are still not sure what happened or why my heart rate and blood pressure keep spiking so high.
More tests to follow in the coming month.
    The good news,

    I GOT TO SHAVE

*Prep: Long, Hot, needed, relaxing shower
    *Pre Shave: Shave Secret oil
    *Brush: GemStar Custom Silvertip
    *Soap: Williams
    *Razor: E.E. Dyer (New York)
*Post Shave:Alum/ Cold rinse Thayers splash
    *A/S: Pi by de Givenchy

The Pi was a new scent for me, tabbaco, leather, notes of vanilla, settles in sweet and lightly woody. I like it

Hey, good to hear you're still with us and still enjoying life! The positive (yes, there's a positive) is that they've found a problem and so now they can look at fixing it. I guess a lot of people don't get warnings. Hope you're relaxing as much as you can.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

today was a WONDERFUL day that led to a shave jus to add icing to the cake !!
got up early , 42degrees sun shining , birds chirping !! watched a bit of NFL channel and passed out ...lol.. got up and decided to fish a bit !! hit the water and my phone rang !! my daughter wanted to go for a hike so i said id fish out to the car and pick her up ..

well the fish turned on , i landed one , ( phone died ) next cast i hooked and landed another , then 5 mins later hooked and lost one .. they were turning on and it was hard to leave but i had made plans ... lol

did the hike and while relaxing i decided to rehone a razor since my coti skills are putting out edges i like now and of course i had to try it ..!!

pre= lathered just to see if it would soften up any whiskers
    brush= Wee-Scott
soap= Mikes " Barbershop" really enjoying this sect/soap
    razor(s)
    1) John Elliot 8/8
    2) Greaves 7/8
    3) Gillette Slim
results === my 7/8 Greaves is my fav shaver BUT what was once my fav edge/razor has fallin a bit behind !! i really like the coti feel so i think im gonna have to put a coti edge on this razor so it gets back up on top of the razor/shave scale !! .. the J Elliot performed nice and shaved well !! and of course i did my usual ATG pass with the DE ..

    Fri, April 5

Pre: Hot Shower, 20 Linen, 20 Leather
Razor: Mappin & Webb 6/8" "The Celebrated Sheffield Hollow Ground Special Steel"
Brush: TI Super Badger w/ Black Horn
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle
    Soap/Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
    Post: Cold water and Alum
    Aftershave: T&H 1805

Well its been awhile since I posted last. I did shave over spring break. I used a shavette and GFT cream. I gotta say that sample of cream was nice. Might look into it. Onward to today:

My lady friend may be more of a keeper than I thought before. She stayed over last night and was enthralled that she was going to see me shave with a straight so I obliged and got to work. At the very end I handed her my three bottles of aftershave and asked her to choose. And now I know her opinion is 1805. She likes Traflagar also but 1805 is her favorite of my three. Proraso white is such a mild smell that it came in third.

Just about forgot. I did touch up the edge of the Mappin & Webb with my new Escher last night and The shave was buttery smooth.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Ah, weekend. No SOTD for the next couple of days; I'll let the stubble take over for a bit. Thanks for the great photos over the past week. Enjoy the weekend, gents.
