    Monday

Razor | Bengall| Cream | Body Shop Macca Root | After Shave | Pashana

I’m feeling rather headachy this morning, my wife is furious with me and I’m probably still over the limit. The shave was handled with ease, though, which is surprising. I’m sort of happy with the edge I put on this razor but I think I can do more. Not sure if I should take it back to the 8k stage, or the 4k stage or simply do more on the 16k. There was no tugging but I’m not GDS (Guard Duty Smooth). This is the first big wedge I’ve used, really; my De Pews is wedgy but it’s a diminutive little thing, and even he isn’t quite there yet as far as a comparison with my full hollows and frame backs go. I may put on some nice quiet music, or even sit in silence and hone until my headache passes.

I think I need another coffee.

[EDIT] now I'm looking closely at the spine in this pic I see I've crated quite a bit of hone wear! :-(

    Monday morning:

Nanny´s shaving soap Bergamot & Coriander
    Rooney Silvertip
    unknown Solinger with french nose
    Le Pere Pelletier Vetiver Aftershave

With this razor I looked ever like a scalded pig.
Since I sharpen my straights on natural stones, they are much more gentle. No skin problems. Nothing.

    Have a nice day!
