Close shave in one pass and a clean up. I can say I like this razor a lot.

    THURSDAY
    Razor: Gold Bug
    Soap: VdH
    Mug: 1920’s
    Brush: HESS #5 “Barber’s Favorite
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Granny Juice

The Day?..About 8 inches/25CM of partly cloudy fell overnight and continues. Good day for a straight shave. The little GoldBug just keeps improving. Nice slow shave and a pleasure to have enjoyed! A nice home roasted Bolivian coffee as a double latte begins the morn well.

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson
    Razor E A Berg
    Soap: Castle Forbes
    AS: Williams
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean indeed

One of the later Erik Anton Berg Razors from Eskilstuna and a replica of a 3 000 - 3 500 yrs old razor found in Sweden, from the bronze age, the former has a really flexible grind, for a Swede and is a great shaver as well

    Here's my shave:

Prep: Hot Shower after 25 mile bike ride into the foothills
    Razor: Hart 7/8, Bocote Scales
    Strop: none
    Brush: AOS Fine Badger
    Cream: Spencer & Devon Sagebrush
    A/S: Master Bay Rum

Result: I know I'm double posting today, but the earlier post was not about today's shave, this one is. I am glab I picked up this razor. I learned that, for me, having $$ in a paypal account from razors I sold on ebay is like Monoploy money. I purchased two new razors that I probably would not have otherwise purchased, and I still have a small balance in the account. Anyhow, this razor is great, but the edge is not quite dialed in. It feels confortable WGT, but had some trouble AGT, like in the mustache area. So I'll get it dialed in Saturday morning. Had to do the same with the other Hart I purchased over a year ago. I was a rookie then, and I wore the heck out of the spine, but it's still a top notch shaver. I also had to touch up the Robert Williams razor I recently received, and it too shaves like a dream.

    Have a great Thursday!

    Thanks,
Cedric is probably my favorite overall custom maker.
He certainly makes big and unusual razors.
The only problem I find, is either not having ready cash to buy one or I haven't checked his site frequently enough and missed out on one I really like.

    Cheers,

    Nice afternoon shave.

    Hot Shower, Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
Custom Lignam Vitae Brush by Pixelfixed
Nancy Boy Signature Series Shaving cream
Robert Williams 7/8 Damascus with Ivory Scales
    100 Laps on leather
    Razorock Aluminum
    Stephan's Lavender AS
    Vaseline for men

Nice shave with the RW. First time using this brush. The badger was very soft and comfortable and I really love the feel of the dense wood.

    Enjoy the day.

Always a pleasure using this razor, two passes and i was happy.
I started with an ATG on the neck and only needed a clean up on the 2nd pass WTG.
