If you haven't done so already, nourish the scales with a few sessions of neats foot oil. You'll be amazed how much it makes them pop again.

Keep doing it several more times until the horn stops absorbing the oil. Always buff dry before each new application. It's not abnormal to do it 4 - 5 times. Originally Posted by pfries
