I tried taking a few different pictures for my SOTD today, but didn't like any of them. A simple close up of the Toyo will have to suffice.Keith

Pre : Hot water, L'Oreal facial wash, Proraso pre-post cream
Soap : Proraso green tub
Brush : Turkish "No.6"
Razor : Merkur 15C
Blade : Derby
Post : Proraso pre-post cream, cold water, Nivea post shave balm
A/S : Old Spice 'original'
Finish : BBS
Comments :
The week long test of the Turkish "No.6" brush finished today. It's not shed a single hair, it's not fought me whilst trying to create lather, and it's not gone too soft on me. For its meagre cost, it's an awesome brush... now its original horrific stench has vanished. I'll definitely be getting another one.~ Dave ~ ... back to lurking...

Really good shave today! I actually tackled most of my face ATG, which for some reason just works for me. I am guessing the über-prep helped a lot. From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Thursday midnight shave
Hot water prep
GB Anchor Cross blade - TOBS Eton college sc - Silvertip badger brush - cold water splash - Thayer's green resplash - L'Oreal asb - Penhaligon's Eau de Verveine EdT
An okay shave with Art Blakey in the background. This kind of heavy steel is rather not for midnight shaves, when the coordination is a bit less...
