Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Great speech. It should have been posted at "Grand Openings" thread!

That's a beautiful story, and as far from silly as one can get. I normally can't stand the typical wedding speeches, etc., to which guests are subjected. But if they were all as thoughtful, personal, and sincere as this, my opinion on wedding receptions would dramatically change!

You don't have the 'start' of a speech, you have the heart of a beautiful and touching speech.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

No shave for me today as I had a really lazy morning before going for an MRI on my knee. So, by Monday I should know what the issue is with my knee.

On my way home I was caught out in a small thunderstorm. I tried running home a little (I wasn't wearing a jacket) and almost immediately regretted that decision. It seems I can no longer run without a large amount of pain in my knee. I managed to run maybe 40 yards before having to walk the rest of the way. Stupid knee.

The not shave of the day...

    Crappola, the shave was

full of pulling and tugging but no payoff

reminds me of me in my youth

And the homily of dedication and loyalty is very much the story of marriage. There will be times of temptation. There will be frustrations with the one we find to share our lives with, but we can never forget that we did not marry that person because it was our own choice. We married that person because our lives spoke to one another and because apart we are merely pebbles on a beach, but when united, we are so much more. We are a laughter, we are accomplishment, we are memories, and we carry unlimited potential.

Your sons are very lucky young men, and Aimee is incredibly fortunate to be joining your family!
Bill, I would disagree. You are as eloquent. Nicely said.

There would have been no "pulling & tugging", if you would have taped that spine! Name: bpink.gif

Ah man, come on man, don't down on a brother for doing things crazy....

nah, this was a brand new razor, the Hart 6/8, which has been taped. When I looked at it with the loupe there were some small chips. I might have bumped the bottom of the strop or something. Anyway, spent some time on the hones and worked them out. I gave it another run and so much better. Yes, I used tape

    Oh yeah,
