Prep: Hot Shower
Razor: Hart 7/8
Strop: Illinios 827, SRP Prem. I
Brush: Semogue 610
Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna
A/S: Alum Block, Thayers Rose Witch Hazel, C&E Sienna A/S Balm
Result: Second shave with this razor. First shave was out of the box, no stropping, and it had trouble ATG. This morning, I gave it a good stropping and, WOW, what a difference. It shaved like a perfectly honed razor, silky smooth, AGT all over my face, BBS, and the lack of sting with the alum block tells me all is well. The artisan put a pro edge on this blade, and once again, I am a firm believer in the power of stropping.
Off to church with the family, then I'll be grilling some ribs and swimming this afternoon. I hope you all have a good Sunday, and Happy Cinco de Mayo to those who celebrate it!

Featured Friends Sunday Shave!
~Neil Miller Bridle~E. Rhodes~RR Limited edition~2-band reknot Certifyed~GP scuttle~Afta/Stetson~
It is nice to have good, quality friends! I decided to feature gifts which remind me of some of my best razor buddies today ! Featuring some fine Razorock Limited edition lather from Str8Shooter(Paul) and featuring my fine GP scuttle from Tarkus(Darl) and also featuring the fine leather of my friend Neil Miller's awesome bridle. Also featuring the Stetson from my brother, who knows I like it!
The razor featured shall be a gift to a friend from myself. Quite a chore to repair and restore, I should have expected that from a razor which was made by a man born in 1762! Darn good shave, but not quite there, yet. I feel a trip back to the finisher shall have it perfect.
Have a great week and take good care of your friends!
Tom"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
