Razor | J A Hellberg Frameback | Super Lather | Edwinj jagger Sea Buckthorn/Body Shop Macca Root
After Shave | Tabac | ‘Whisky’ Eau de Toilette by Evaflor
A day home from work today feeling forlorn, morose and withered. Polished a razor, the frame on this frameback was brass plated with a silver coloured metal, but the silver had worn off in parts. So I decided to take all the silver off; it came up very nice looking.
The cream and soap mix went very well. Another really top of the line shave; as I’d given this razor 40 laps on the Shapton 16k. This is the second of my Swedish razors to get 40 on the Shapton; normally I stop at 20 for a touch up or after a honing on the 4/8.
I’m starting to think that that many laps gives a really good result on the harder steel.

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I'm starting out what will be an incredibly busy week with a moment of calm and serenity. The custom formulation Bomb shaving cream is a rose and sandalwood that is beyond luxurious. It is made with pure Ottoman Rose oil and genuine sandalwood EO. Both oils were purchased in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Al mixed them expertly and the cream leaves my skin so moisturized! It pairs with the Santal Noble incredibly well. Of course, in between, the Sprecher custom never fails to get the job done!

Thanked: 1185She actually prefers when I don't have it but strangely that only happens about as often as Haley's comet. After all these years I don't know why she still even mentions it. 01 January this year was the end of a once per decade clean shaven me. It's not due again until 2024 at least. 99% of the time she gets her way but when it comes to the soup strainer, I insist on having mine.
