Attempted a shave with a sample of C&E Lime but did not like the feel on my face. Not for me I guess. Anyway, CF did the trick. Love this stuff. Though I am pining for some MWF. I ran out about a month ago.The Vie Long is breaking in nicely. Maybe I will not have to buy a badger after all.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: New Forest 2201
    Razor: Max Sprecher
    Soap: MdC
    AS/edt: 4711
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

I really like the scent of 4711, but boy o boy does the edt vanish fast (on me, almost directly, almost as if the AS stays longer)... This brush/razor/soap combo wiped away two days stubble like nothing else, fantastic shave!
