    Default Sun - May 19th - Sat May 25th

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Max Sprecher
    Brush: SRP LE 2011
    Lather: SRD Bulgarian Rose
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Nourishing: Aramis
    Scent: Aramis
Result: Every time I use SRD's Bulgarian Rose I cry. I cry because I see it shrink after each use and it's not available anymore. So I dread the day my tub turns empty. It is the Holy Grail of glycerin/eo based soap I have ever used in my life. Unsurpassed. As was the shave.

Wishing my brothers a great new week.

    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: Tabac
    Razor: Dovo Special 11/16
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
    Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Pinaud's Virgin Island Bay Rum
I picked up this little 5 x 1 inch Thuringian recently for $11 and gave it a test run on the Dovo.
It polished the edge nicely. Dont think it will beat the Naniwa 12k, but I still think it was a good score.
Result: A very nice 2 pass shave

Glad to see old Yoda is still guiding your shaving Tom, I will leave you with some wise words from Yoda, this should also apply to our straight razors.
