    Monday

Razor | Bengall Wedge | Cream | Musgo Real Orange Amber| After Shave | Tabac

Bit of a funny shave this morning. The razor felt tuggy, and I got a couple of little nicks. I’m not all that adept at shaving with a wedge, and as I hadn’t shaved for the last few days I didn’t know if it felt tuggy because it was dull or if it was because of the slightly greater growth. It’s funny as after the shave my face certainly felt smooth, and now, at 6 o’clock at night it still does. Maybe it was just my lack of experience with the wedge.

Feeling good after an active weekend indoor bouldering. I’ve moved up a notch as I solved my first problem rated V 0. The bouldering club uses a rating system where all the problems marked with symbol written in white chalk are rated as Easy (V -1), Yellow are rated as V 0 to V1, and Blue are rated as Medium (V 1 to V2), etc. I’d completed all the Whites and Yellows; so it was good to be able to solve (i.e. climb) the Blue problem (i.e. route). I’m really enjoying bouldering still; and feeling very strong, actually…

Hope you all have a productive, happy week…

    Gentlemen,

It was a great weekend, now it's time for a great week. And it's starting out just right after a shave with the Joe Chandler pattern welded "damascus." It paired with the C&E Nomad soap and my bog Oak Somebody Special brush. The post shave duties were done by Lucido and the smelly stuff is courtesy of Maitre Parfeur et Gantier's Santal Nobel...

He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
