Prep - Hot water + shave towel
Pre-Shave - Musgo Real Glyce
Brush - Vulfix bristle
Soap - Palmolive
Mug - James Kent scuttle
Razor - 13/16 WKC hollow

It has been raining here all day; a typical quiet, rainy day. A relaxing and slow shave with my first ever straight razor, received as a gift probably 10 years ago now. It has some scuffing and scratching, but shaves well enough. Not ultra-smooth, but no irritation. Here is to a great week for everyone

Razor | Klas Törnblom | Cream | Musgo Real | After Shave | Pashana Bay Rum
OK, I’m going to be right upfront just in case some of you guys were watching this morning and say I did NOT use the Tabac as pictured. This evening, on returning home, when I take my SOTD photos and post my post, I forgot what I actually used this morning; and now that I started writing I realised that I used Pashana Bay Rum hair tonic, not the Tabac. So, sorry about that, please keep your letters to the editor to a minimum…
The shave was excellent, one of my best. I really concentrated on getting that growth on my cheek that goes towards my chin (i.e. W to E) 100% against the grain on the second pass. Really, one of the keys to a really smooth shave is getting each hair 100% ATG. A LOT of the time I just go N to S and S to N. I guess I’m just lazy.
On another note, some dickhead really pissed me off on the road this evening. I was going slow (80) as I was almost out of petrol, and Mr Dickhead Landover driver decides to tail gate me and then overtake on a double white line, so I flashed my high beam and got on the horn for a bit. Next he slows to 60, just to piss me off. I kept my cool and didn’t retaliate, though I removed my watch just in case it was going to come to blows. The good people of Mount Torrens and the general wider Adelaide area are very lucky we aren’t allowed to carry guns; otherwise the road kill would be a real problem for the local council…

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
