    No photo today.

Pre : Old Spice preshave wash, Proraso pre-post cream
    Soap : Old Spice cream
    Brush : Progress Vulfix 404
Razor : Gillette Superspeed flare tip
    Blade : Feather
Post : Proraso pre-post cream, cold water, Nivea post shave balm
    A/S : Old Spice 'original'

    Finish : BBS

    Comments :
On Saturday, I felt like giving the old cartridge razor/shaving gel setup a bash. I wish I hadn't bothered. The whole event was messy and tedious. Todays setup was much more pleasureable, with no smell of propellant whatsoever. Also, what struck me was the fact that the Old Spice a/s stung like hell when I slapped it on, on Saturday... yet it didn't sting one bit today. Nor are there any odd red blotches today. Gillette isn't the best a man can get anymore, which is sad seeing the products they once produced.

I just finished a military history book--Volume 3 of Rick Atkinson's "Liberation" trilogy--The Guns at Last Light.

It's one of the best books, if not the best book, I have ever read about World War II.

The Guns at Last Light: The War in Western Europe, 1944-1945 (Liberation Trilogy): Rick Atkinson: 9780805062908: Amazon.com: Books

Here's a YouTube link of Atkinson discussing his book.

Great book! Not my favorite translation, however a remarkable text!

Yes indeed, a remarkable text. I have not read any of it in awhile. The writings have helped me get through the past week.
