Razor: Thomas W Ward 11/16
Cream: Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn
Brush: Cangooner #3
Scuttle: Robert Baker 002 in Lava Slate
Shave: 2 passes, WTG/XTG
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
A/S: Captain's Choice Bay Rum
This little beaut arrived from ebay today, so I cleaned it up, honed it up, and gave it a whirl. I haven't quite dialed in the edge yet (yup, I've got myself another bothersome wedge...) but it's almost there. I think this will be a great shaver.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Today a reason to open a bottle of wine:
After it rained for weeks, cause here all the rivers flood.
The highest level was yesterday and we came away unscathed here. Many others were not so lucky and have wet houses. Sometimes the water is up to the first floor. Fortunately, the people were informed in time and it has no one surprised.
Have a nice day!>Jean

Thanked: 485Wednesday
Razor | Burrell Top Flight| Soap | Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad| After Shave | Pashana Bay Rum
Nice shave this morning. It was the last of the Pashana Bay Rum. When I received this, I realised I'd made a mistake and purchased the hair Tonic and not the after Shave, but I think it's pretty much the same. I'd buy this again, but I may try the Captain's Choice Bay Rum products, they seem to be getting favourable reviews...

Thanked: 3228Razor - Gillette New long OC?
Blade - Astra SP
Soap - Arko in a tub
Brush - Omega Boar
Post shave - Alum block
AS - Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Man that Gillette OC can shave, as good as anything I have used and better than most. My second shave with it and still adjusting my DE technique to suit. Just a little irritation after a 3 pass shave, nothing major. I believe that this thing will bite if you are not close to spot on with it but if you are you get a BBS for sure. Great start to the day, hope yours was too.
