Excellent and classical 3 pass shave to Uebercleanliness. This old Sheffield steel is a pleasure to hone and an even greater pleasure to shave with. Enjoyed to the tunes of The Rolling Stones - Let it bleed. After so many years still an awesomely, bluesy album. I probably shan't be shaving until Sunday, so here's wishing you fine gentlemen a great weekend already!

Lukewarm Shower, Ice Water splash, 1960 Fatboy, Arko Shavestick, Pinaud Lilac Vegetal, Murray's Superior Pomade
This was a very nice shave, with iced water. Three passes, catfish belly smooth. Still not impressed with the Wilkinson Blades, the Dorko's seem to be much better blades. The older I get, the better I was

The other day I raved about Feather being an excellent shaver, I'll be damned if this razor ain't as good a shaver as my Feather SS non folding
Today it's Midsummer day here in Sweden and it's as big a holiday here as X-mas (really), lot's of dancing around a pole and so ... and the girls put 7 different kind of flowers under their pillows and dream of their future husband and we dream about them, without flowers. This's typical how it looks _everywhere_ in Sweden today:

Thanked: 485Sorry Mikael, mate, but that sort of thing just cracks me up.
We here in Australia see that sort of thing as just SO typical of the stereotypical Swedish thing. It's all so....ummmm...pagan? It's like our idea of sex movies from the 70's we used to watch as teenagers; they seemed to be always Swedish. It's like I guess how some people think we have kangaroos hopping down the main street (in reality it's only maybe occasional) and we all carry a BIG knife.
I'd love to live in Sweden, or any Nordic country (although some seem a little coldish) they seem so beautiful and frivolous.
I find Australia rather boring and barren most of the time. You start to need to be amazed at how that little tiny plant hasn't had rainfall for six months but it's still flowering, and isn't the dead grass looking lovely? Boring. A lot of nothing around here. No dancing young people (except in 'clubs' (we used to call them discos)), no wreaths of flowers and frivolous lovemaking in meadows like happens over there constantly.
Boring.
Tell you what. Let's do a time share thing. You come over here in our winter (it's not as nice as your summer but you could convince yourself it's not TOO bad) and I'll go over there in my winter (your summer). We'll swap 1/2 way. Not only because there's only so much frivolous activities one can stand before one needs to sit and drink a can of beer and watch the ants but also so I get a REAL summer where you're in fear of your life from the heat while walking to the toilet at the camping ground and then a flower strewn frivolous one with Swedish ladies...
You get your normal winter and my winter which is not as bad as your winter.
Maybe we'd need to swap photos of the houses we'd be living in first. Mine has four dogs, a few holes in the walls (I'll fix them soon, don't nag) and a nice view.
Your backyard looks nice and I'll expect those two girls to come with it. Just for home duties, no inappropriate activity. Unless they want to of course, I'd hate to deny them a chance to practice their cultural activities.Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
