A light, pleasant barbershop-scent with a little cooling. It cools less than the Proraso for example.

Nice shave, got a gift (Commodore) in the mail yesterday. Somebody likes me.

    Tuesday
    Hot water prep
Gillette Toggle razor 1960 set to "7" - Super Max blade - Proraso aloe vera & vitamin E sc - generic silvertip badger brush - cold water splash - Floid mentolado vigoroso AS

A hot and humid day today and tomorrow even more so. I opted for the cooling sensations of the Proraso and the ease of the Gillette Toggle razor. Only the second shave with this razor for me so far and I totally dig it. The Super Max blade performs very well and this combination will be with me for a while as I bought a whole stack of Super Max blades on the local market here.
Wonderfully relaxing two pass shave. Lola Flores in the background with her powerful Spanish ballads.

    Hot shower, Warm Oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
Truefitt and Hill Almond shave cream/ glycerine
Badger brush in Macasser ebony body with a Lignum Vitae top cap by Bill (Pixelfixed)
Joseph Rodgers & Sons, 6/8 wedge, Barber's notch in Ivory
    Strop, 100 laps
    Razorock Aluminum
    Pinuad Bay Rum
    Vaseline for men

Nice shave today again with the Rogers. I really like this brush. It has such a nice feel to it, the weight and contour of the handle. The brush holds large amounts of lather and is soft and smooth. Once again the hot towels ended a nice shave.

    Enjoy the evening.
