Thanked: 10So I could not resist I put the included blade in the razor made up a lather and shaved. I have a near BBS shave with it very little irritation I would probably have none but I did a WTG and XTG. I think the XTG was a little rougher than what I was expecting and I probably should not have done it to begin with. All in all I am very pleased with this razor.

Thanked: 7I have the same problem with Sharks. By the second pass I feel the edge pulling more.

Thanked: 10I was wondering if they are crappy blades or just me. The merkur blade I used for 2 shaves because I felt at the end of the second shave it was tugging a bit more. I then used a Wilkinson sword for two shaves and it was about the same as the merkur. But the shark was not a very good shave compared to those two. I am going to try to keep a log of how the blades do for me. So far I have a few categories.
Blade used.
Type of passes preformed.
Shaving soap used. It may affect performance it may not.
How the shave feels.
How my face feels immediately afterwards. I think I will add how my face fees through the day but usually after an hour or so my face kinda normalizes no matter what I do to it.
Dose the blade need to be broken in. I'm not sure this is really necessary because after 2 3 shaves it will go in the trash responsibly.
How long the blade lasts.
I am open to suggestions on what to look out for in selecting the right blade.
