That's a great idea, I think I'm going to start doing that too!

If you have any ideas on what it means to have the right blade please add to the list. Aside from one day slapping a blade in the razor and shaving while sub consciously judging it the best way IMO is to have a log of what you have used and make that log as you use them.

Hmmm lets think on this. Initial Sharpness Grade I guess, then after 1st pass (WTG), then after 2nd pass (ATG/XTG), Second Shave (Y/N), Second Shave 1, 2, Third Shave 1, 2? Something like that?

I have been listing all the same but noting if it was 1st 2nd 3rd etc on the shaves. What you have is more intuitive I think and adds to grading the blade better.

Hey bro, I'm going to work up an excel spreadsheet over the weekend and I'll post it. Have been down with the flu this past week. BTW...I just tried a Gillette 7 o'clock blade and absolutely hated it. Horrible shave. I'm going to be giving this pack of razors to a friend to try out.

Cool I will look for it. I used the Gillette 7 oclock yellow pack was almost as good as the Wilkinson swords I have used. They do tug a bit with the ATG on my chin a little so I am not chalking them up very high just yet.

    Hope you are felling better.

Hmmm the one I used was a green pack...? I wonder what the differences are.

Thanks for the good wishes! I'll PM you when I have it done bro!

Material it is made of, of the three on SRD two list the material one is platinum blue pack, super stainless light green pack, and the yellows donot say on the pack what they are made of just sharp edge.
