Thanked: 10If you have any ideas on what it means to have the right blade please add to the list. Aside from one day slapping a blade in the razor and shaving while sub consciously judging it the best way IMO is to have a log of what you have used and make that log as you use them.

Thanked: 7Hmmm lets think on this. Initial Sharpness Grade I guess, then after 1st pass (WTG), then after 2nd pass (ATG/XTG), Second Shave (Y/N), Second Shave 1, 2, Third Shave 1, 2? Something like that?

Thanked: 10I have been listing all the same but noting if it was 1st 2nd 3rd etc on the shaves. What you have is more intuitive I think and adds to grading the blade better.

Thanked: 7Hey bro, I'm going to work up an excel spreadsheet over the weekend and I'll post it. Have been down with the flu this past week. BTW...I just tried a Gillette 7 o'clock blade and absolutely hated it. Horrible shave. I'm going to be giving this pack of razors to a friend to try out.

Thanked: 10Cool I will look for it. I used the Gillette 7 oclock yellow pack was almost as good as the Wilkinson swords I have used. They do tug a bit with the ATG on my chin a little so I am not chalking them up very high just yet.
Hope you are felling better.Last edited by insanity; 01-24-2013 at 06:09 AM.
